Nebraska LB 722 revises the bond requirements for all state employees. Prior law required all employees not specifically required to post a bond to be covered under a blanket
surety bond or insurance policy in an amount not to exceed $1 million. The new law eliminates the specified amount, and confers authority on the State’s risk manager to determine the amount required. ENACTED: 03/03/2010
