Louisiana Child Support Collection Agencies Bond Requirements Change

Louisiana SB 130 would require private child support collection agencies to register and post a $50,000 surety bond or cash deposit. The surety bond would have to be issued by a surety company licensed in the State, and it would be conditioned on compliance with the proposed law as well as the faithful performance of the agency’s agreements with its clients.
