What Kind Of Bond Do I Need? Surety Bond Help

Unsure about what kind of bond you need? Need Surety Bond help? The following questions might help you determine which application to complete.

How To Find A Surety Bond On Our Site:
1. Who has asked you to get a bond?
Generally, who ever has asked you to get a bond can tell you what bond it is you need. Contact the obligee (the entity requiring a bond) and ask for the name of the bond. Or, contact us and we’ll help you determine which bond you need.
2. You have a bond form?
If you have been given a bond form, fax or e-mail us a copy and we can help you determine what kind of bond you need and which application to complete.
3. You just want to be able to say that you are bonded?
If no one specific has asked you to get a bond and you just want to be able to tell your customers that you are “bonded,” you need a Dishonesty Bond. This type of bond protects you if any of your employees are convicted of theft. Click on the link to complete the application.
4. Are you a contractor or subcontractor and have a contract or bid that requires a bond?
If you are a contractor or subcontractor and have been asked to provide a bond for a contract or bid, please visit our Contractor’s Bond section and complete a Bond Kit. If your bid or contract is under $500,000 simply complete our Fast Track Application to get started. Or talk to an underwriter at 1-800-486-8211. Mention you found us on the internet.
5. Still not sure what you need?
You can either contact us and we’ll help you determine what you need or complete our Generic Application and we’ll contact you to talk about your bonding needs.
Remember, our only business is the bond business. With over 60 years of underwriting experience and 30+ sureties to work with, we are sure to have a program in place to fit your needs. Our easy applications and same day service (in most cases) will make getting your bond easy, regardless of what kind of bond it is.

*This is not an actual application, but a form that will help us help you fill out the correct application.
